| Join ECHO.
ECHO is a non profit making organisation. Its membership is made up of carp anglers and other interested agencies and individuals who are dedicated to the protection of our carp angling heritage, and who have become very concerned with the threat that foreign carp pose to our original stocks and the distortion of our history. If you would like to give your support to ECHO by becoming a member you can join in the following ways: 1. ECHO finance. Current membership and renewal fees stand at £20 per annum for individual members. Membership runs for 12 months from joining. There is also a Corporate membership category at £50 which additionally allows the member to join our list of sponsors and have a link from the website, appear on the sponsors page in each newsletter and take out further paid advertisements in the newsletter. At the AGM in February 2007, the members also introduced a free membership for under 16s entitling the junior members to full membership benefits.
ECHO is a non-profit making organisation. After any necessary expenses all the money raised is used to further our objectives either through direct grants in support of research activities, increasing public awareness of the issues through for example the newsletter and attending shows and meetings to put across our case. The ECHO accounts are laid before the members at the AGM and published in an abridged form in the following newsletter.
Our heritage is worth protecting and if it is a cause that means something to you then please give us your support. The more members we have the louder our voice will be. If you would like to become a sponsor or a partner please contact us for more details. |
