ECHO Competitions

ECHO would like to offer the membership a fantastic opportunity for any budding author to submit an article to be included within the forthcoming issues of the Echoes Magazine.  There will always be two competitions that will run alongside each other, one for junior members (under 18’s), and one for adults.
What is it that makes our sport unique, what is it that motivates us to fish?  These are the questions that have inspired anglers worldwide and have driven them to put their passion for the sport into words!  What have you to say about your passion for angling!
There will be prizes available to the successful author’s and we would ask you to check out the News section of the website to find out the current competition prize details.
This is truly the dawning of a new age for carpers and anglers alike in the UK, and ECHO has to be fully in line with the changes that are taking place within our sport, not just politically, but just as importantly in addressing what carpers feel are the issues that will achieve benefits for them on a local basis and for the sport nationwide.  Your article can be as light or as heavy as you deem fit, just believe in what you write, and write it with conviction and appetite.

The criteria for entry are fairly simple;

Your article must contain no more than 1000 words.

Your article should under no circumstances undermine the ethic of ECHO.

Your article should be exactly that, your article.  Please do not present an article on somebody else's behalf.

Your entry article should be received by E-Mail (contact details below) no later than the closing date detailed within the News section.

In addition it would be in best keeping if you were prepared to supply quality images to furnish your entry if it was chosen as one of the winning articles.

For anyone wishing to submit an article for this fantastic competition, or if you would like further information, please send your article or enquiries to; richardcrimp@hotmail.co.uk

I would like to take this early opportunity to thank you for your entry submissions and I would also like to thank the ECHO Corporate Sponsors for supporting the competitions with some great prizes.  Both successful articles will be published within the Echoes Magazine and also on the pages of the ECHO website.  Thank you and the best of luck!
